Writing is a profound tool that transcends the mere recording of facts; it serves as a powerful vehicle for conveying ideology, critical thinking and inspiring values that shape character. To harness this transformative potential, the Literary Club Adhyayan of Ramanthapur, in collaboration with Shivaji Youth Association of Ramanthapur, organised an essay writing competition on the history of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 07th February, 2026. This initiative was designed to empower school students by encouraging them to engage deeply with historical narratives and express their understanding through writing.
The competition attracted enthusiastic participation of 200 students from a diverse group of schools, including Divya Jyothi School, Kakatiya School, Vaishnavi School, Vidyaranya High School and Mother's Integral School. The event was honoured by the presence of notable dignitaries such as the Malkajgiri Division In-charge, Presidents and General Secretaries of various Ramanthapur colonies, who detailed the importance of nurturing young minds through such educational initiatives. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes to the participants and winners.
