Women have played a significant role in the development of the family, the culture and civilization of the continent. The Indians worship women as Goddesses and the Indian culture provides a significant place for the women in the family and society.The stories of successful, resilient women serve as inspiration for younger generations. Celebrating their achievements fosters a sense of empowerment and motivates others to strive for excellence and break barriers.

In celebration of International Women's Day 2025, the Women's Club – Anvithaof the institution, reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women and fostering inclusivity. Established in 2013, Anvitha was created with the vision of cultivating a supportive environment where women of the institution; both students and stafffeel valued, encouraged, and empowered to thrive.

Aligned with this year's global theme, "For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment," Anvitha curated a series of impactful and engaging activities that reflected the strength, talent, and resilience of the women within the institution. The celebrations aimed not only to recognize the achievements of women but also to provide a meaningful platform for expression and growth.

A central feature of the event was an interactive health and nutrition session with Dr. Sujatha Stephen, Dietician, Yashodha Hospitals, that focussed on maintaining healthy nutrition for women. Dr. Sujatha explained that maintaining a balance of proteins, carbohydrates and fats is very essential for having a sound physical and mental health. She focussed on the need for maintaining a balanced diet, especially for working women who are prone to more physical work and mental stress.

To further celebrate the spirit of the day, Anvitha organized a variety of fun-filled activities and competitions, allowing women faculty and students to showcase their diverse talents and creative expressions. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as participants engaged in these events, strengthening bonds and building a sense of unity.

Senior faculty members shared their personal journeys, offering inspiration and guidance to younger women on how to maintain a healthy work-life balance-a vital component for overall well-being and professional success. The women's day celebrations reemphasised on commitment of the institution for boosting morale and empowering the women fraternity.
